The present king of the Google Nexus line, the Nexus 6P is presently getting a performance boosting update. Just a few days back the more budget friendly sibling, Nexus 5X received a similar upgrade and users have reported that it sorted out things pretty well. The latest build is still running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow but with an updated build number from 6.0.1 (MMB29V) to 6.0.1 (MHC19I).
What this update fixes ? We have compiled a complete list below, feel free to take a look.
- General device performance
- DND next alarm disappearing issue
- Carrier-specific bug fixes
- Connectivity improvements
It might not seem a lot in the first glance, but it surely makes the overall user experience better and much more stabler. Now you can wait for the OTA to show up on your Nexus device, or you may download the factory image for this build from Google’s developer portal or from our Firmware Section and flash it manually (we suggest the latter for more advanced users).
Warning : Flashing a Factory image will wipe all your Data, so better make a back up first.
